Štai ką apie eksperimentinę laidą mums rašo John'as:
Sound Seed Transmissions is hosted by John Grzinich as part of his residency at Nida Art Colony and broadcast on Neringa FM: http://neringafm.lt/
Sound Seed Transmissions is a series of radio shows focusing on sound artists who work with unique and different contexts, drawing their inspiration from nature, natural materials, found objects, temporary installations and self-made instruments. The show is meant to be a type of "stories from the field", presenting a mix of short interviews with artists and a selection of field recordings and/or compositions.
16.11.2011 - For the first show we have Yiorgis Sakellariou in dialogue with John Grzinich.
Yiorgis Sakellariou is a sound artist and composer originally from Greece but now lives in Lithuania and works under the name Mecha/Orga. His practice is founded on the digital manipulation of environmental recordings. His palette of sounds is all encompassing; from vibrating rail-tracks to refridgerators' static, and from noisy waterfalls to the humming of insects, all may find place in his arsenal.

John Grzinich has been conducting his own forms of sound research for over 15 years, including field recording, kinetic sculptures, electro-acoustic composition, performance, group workshops and exercises in listening. Currently he lives in Estonia and works as a program and media lab coordinator for MoKS, a non-profit artist-run center.
